Business Communication



When dealing with communication, we must very careful in the intent of the message. in the video, nonverbal cues can lead to many misunderstandings when trying to send a message across. this requires effort on both the sender and receiver of the message, as the conversation continue it will be a constant role changing for the communication. having the proper skill down can be helpful to prevent misunderstanding, confusing and frustration on both sides. In the example it talks about not being to general in the discussion and to be more personal in delivering the message. These ideas can be a good tool to try to not come rude or to put the receiver on the defense. On the receiver side, there is much to learn to be a well round receiver. Listing, asking question, and waiting until the sender finish their thought before preparing your counter can help encourage both sides are being respected and their thoughts are being heard.  Practicing these steps in communication in your daily conversation can help strength your skill to better prepare you more for those more difficult conversation that you may come across in the future. Being open and showing nonverbal ques that you are engage and understanding shows the sender or receiver that your actively participation the conversation at hand. These skills go hand-and-hang together to establish a well sound communication skill. These skills can be us in any type of situation where thoughts, ideas, and message are trying to be sent either by oral, nonoral forms of communication.
